Цель данной статьи – исследовать влияние Второй мировой войны на экономику и общество США, а также выявить ключевые факторы, способствовавшие трансформации этой страны в один из мировых лидеров после завершения конфликта. Для анализа использовался междисциплинарный подход, включающий исторические, экономические и социологические методы исследования. Источниковая база состоит из архивных документов, статистических данных военного времени, а также трудов ведущих исследователей по теме. Были проанализированы макроэкономические показатели, изменения в производственном секторе, структура занятости и социальные сдвиги в обществе. В ходе исследования выявлено, что Вторая мировая война кардинально изменила экономический ландшафт США. Введение военного производства способствовало росту промышленности, практически устранив безработицу, характерную для Великой депрессии. Были установлены механизмы социально-экономической мобильности, в том числе за счет вовлечения женщин и афроамериканцев в рабочую силу. Кроме того, война оказала существенное влияние на инновации в технологиях и инфраструктуре. Среди ключевых факторов, обусловивших успех США, выделяются географическая изолированность, доступ к обширным ресурсам, а также эффективная мобилизация экономических и человеческих активов. Социально-экономическое развитие США в годы войны оказалось важным этапом для формирования текущего статуса страны как глобальной сверхдержавы. Эффективные экономические стратегии и социальные реформы обеспечили ускорение выхода из кризиса и устойчивый рост, заложив основы для послевоенного процветания. The Second World War (1939-1945) had a huge impact on the United States, becoming a turning point in its socio-economic development. The purpose of this article is to explore the impact of World War II on the U.S. economy and society, as well as to identify key factors that contributed to the transformation of this country into one of the world leaders after the end of the conflict. An interdisciplinary approach was used for the analysis, including historical, economic and sociological research methods. The source database consists of archival documents, wartime statistics, as well as the works of leading researchers on the topic. Macroeconomic indicators, changes in the manufacturing sector, employment structure and social shifts in society were analyzed. The study revealed that the Second World War dramatically changed the economic landscape of the United States. The introduction of military production contributed to the growth of industry, virtually eliminating the unemployment characteristic of the Great Depression. Mechanisms for socio-economic mobility have been established, including through the involvement of women and African Americans in the workforce. In addition, the war had a significant impact on innovation in technology and infrastructure. Geographical isolation, access to vast resources, and effective mobilization of economic and human assets are among the key factors contributing to the success of the United States. The socio-economic development of the United States during the war years proved to be an important stage in shaping the country's current status as a global superpower. Effective economic strategies and social reforms accelerated the recovery from the crisis and sustained growth, laying the foundations for post-war prosperity.
