<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article examines the impact of smart media on the process of international communication and the formation of global information flows. Smart media, as part of the digital ecosystem, has a significant impact on the exchange of information between countries. The purpose of the study is to identify the key factors driven by smart technologies that determine the nature and dynamics of global communication. The work uses a mixed methodological approach, including the analysis of scientific literature, the study of current cases of interaction with smart media and their specific applications, such as recommendation algorithms, content filtering and personalization. Additionally, an analytical review of statistical data on the use of smart media in different countries and their impact on information flows was conducted. The study showed that smart media contributes to the acceleration of international communication by automating content exchange and fine-tuning information dissemination algorithms. However, negative effects have also been identified, such as the growth of digital inequality and the strengthening of regional media imbalances. The impact of smart media on global information flows has been reflected in the change of traditional communication channels and the strengthening of the role of multinational corporations. It has also been found that smart technologies change the perception of information by the audience, increasing the importance of local context and personalization. The article highlights the dual nature of the influence of smart media: on the one hand, they contribute to the globalization of information and simplify international communication, on the other, they increase the fragmentation of the global information space. To minimize negative consequences, it is recommended to develop international standards on the use of smart media aimed at ensuring a fair and ethical approach to big data processing. Further research is needed to analyze in more detail the impact of smart media on the cultural and social aspects of international communication.</p></trans-abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article examines the impact of smart media on the process of international communication and the formation of global information flows.
