В статье приводится результат анализа современного состояния систем поликультурного образования в школах России и Кыргызстана. Характеристика систем была дана на основе теории характеристики системы Ю.П. Сурмина. Были выявлены следующие категории и их характеристика: пространство – социокультурное, информационное, цифровое, образовательное; внутренние процессы, влияющие на состояние систем – цифровизация, норматизация, демократизация; внешние процессы – глобализация, интеграция; внутренний источник развития – государственная политика в сфере межкультурных отношений и в сфере образования; внешний источник развития – международные положения ООН, геополитическое взаимодействие стран; механизм развития – детерминированный (предопределен законами).
