The article is devoted to the study of the influence of family parenting styles on the formation of delinquent behavior of minors. The main parenting styles are considered, such as authoritarian, liberal, democratic, as well as hypoopection and overprotection. The article analyzes how each of these styles can contribute to or hinder the development of deviant behavior in adolescents. Special attention is paid to the role of the family in the prevention of delinquency and the formation of a healthy personality.
