The introduction substantiates the relevance of the study, arising from the need to improve the competitiveness and environmental sustainability of the agricultural sector in the context of global challenges and regional peculiarities. The Methods section discusses the methods used to analyze the effectiveness of government support and regulation measures. Both quantitative and qualitative assessment methods are used, including statistical analysis of production indicators of agro-industrial enterprises, as well as monitoring the results of the introduction of state programs to support the processing industry in certain regions.
