Research on the impact of digitalization on the development of new business models and innovative ecosystems in the industry of the Russian Federation

Abstract

Digitalization has a significant impact on the development of the economy and business process management in industry, stimulating the creation of new business models and innovative ecosystems. This study aims to analyze the impact of digitalization on the formation and evolution of such models and ecosystems in the context of industry in the Russian Federation. In the context of global changes and increasing competitiveness, digitalization is becoming an important factor in the sustainable development of industry. The rational use of digital technologies allows us to achieve higher levels of efficiency and adaptability. This paper examines the main directions and mechanisms through which digitalization affects industrial enterprises and their ecosystems in Russia. The study uses combined methods of analysis, including quantitative and qualitative analysis of data collected from official sources and scientific publications. Expert interviews were conducted with representatives of industrial enterprises and experts on digitalization, as well as statistical methods were used to assess the dynamics of changes. The results of the study show that digitalization has a significant impact on the process of creating new business models in industry. In particular, such trends as the transition to digital twins, the use of big data and artificial intelligence were noted. These technologies contribute to improving the efficiency of production processes, optimizing supply chains and improving interaction between market participants. Additionally, it is established that digitalization contributes to the formation of innovative ecosystems that unite companies, startups, educational institutions and government agencies into single clusters, stimulating the exchange of knowledge and technological solutions. The findings of the study confirm that digitalization is a key driver of the development of new business models and innovative ecosystems in the industry of the Russian Federation. The introduction of digital technologies opens up wide opportunities to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of industrial enterprises. Further research in this area is needed to identify new relationships and develop recommendations for business and public policy.
