Abstract
The current development of the Russian agricultural sector is characterized by the deepening of integration processes, driven by the need to increase the sustainability and competitiveness of economic entities in the context of industrialization, market transformation, and technological modernization. Despite the decrease in the number of organizations from 99,500 in 2018 to 72,700 in 2024, there has been a steady increase in production volumes, reaching 5.357 trillion rubles, reflecting the concentration of production, the consolidation of structures, and the displacement of small-scale farming by large agricultural enterprises. An analysis of the leading regions – Krasnodar Krai, Rostov, Voronezh, and Belgorod Oblasts, and the Republic of Tatarstan – reveals significant differentiation in specialization, dynamics of the gross regional product, and the number of participants in agricultural cooperatives, where, in particular, Tatarstan has seen a significant increase in the cooperative movement, which correlates with the amount of government support. A critical analysis of the tools for promoting integration includes digital transformation, which includes robotization, artificial intelligence, and distributed registries as cost-reducing factors, the development of information and advisory systems to overcome information asymmetry, various organizational forms such as clusters, agro-complexes, and cooperatives, and financial mechanisms such as subsidies (totaling 8.21 billion rubles in 2024), preferential taxation, and grants. The proposed systematization of these tools based on their impact criteria demonstrates that maximum efficiency is achieved through a comprehensive combination of technological, institutional, advisory, and budgetary measures, which creates a foundation for optimizing production processes, strengthening market positions, and ensuring long-term food security. This approach allows us to identify the key aspects of integration transformations in the agricultural sector, assess their relevance for scientific research and practical implementation, and determine the feasibility of referring to the full text for a detailed examination of support mechanisms and quantitative assessment of the integration effect.
