Human resource management in multinational corporations: multicultural adaptation and integration
How to cite
Abstract
In the context of globalization, multinational corporations (TNCs) face the challenge of human resource management (HRM) in a multinational environment. Effective human resources management plays a key role in fluctuations in productivity and the ability of corporations to adapt to different cultural contexts. The main purpose of this article is to examine the processes of multicultural adaptation and integration of employees in multinational corporations, offering recommendations for successful human resource management in these conditions. The study analyzed the literature on HRM in TNCs, with an emphasis on multicultural aspects of adaptation and integration. Both theoretical developments and empirical evidence on the application of multinational team management strategies were reviewed. The case-stage method was also used, which includes the study of successful cases of employee integration in various regional divisions of corporations. The study showed that multicultural integration requires a deep understanding of cultural differences and their impact on organizational behavior. Successful TNCs use hybrid strategies combining standardization and adaptation of corporate culture. Cultural literacy training, mentoring programs, and employee support systems during relaxation are important factors for successful adaptation. At the same time, it was noted that the success of integration depends on the level of involvement of local leaders and their ability to competently manage cultural diversity. Multicultural adaptation and integration of employees are critical elements of effective human resource management in TNCs. To succeed in the context of globalization, it is necessary to implement strategies that promote cultural convergence, strengthen communication and create an inclusive corporate environment. These findings may be useful for TNK managers in developing and implementing programs for the integration of multinational work teams.
