India-China rivalry in the field of nuclear missile technology and its impact on regional stability

Abstract

This article analyzes the rivalry between India and China in the field of nuclear missile technology and its impact on regional stability. Based on the study of scientific literature and data on the development of nuclear programs of the two countries, key factors determining the nature of competition have been identified. The research methodology includes a comparative analysis of the military capabilities and nuclear strategies of India and China, and an assessment of the role of economic and political factors in bilateral relations. The results show that the nuclear arms race between countries poses risks to regional security, increasing mutual distrust and provoking an arms race. At the same time, the deterrent effect of nuclear weapons is noted, reducing the likelihood of a direct military conflict. The author concludes that it is necessary to strengthen arms control mechanisms and develop dialogue between India and China to ensure strategic stability in the region. The results obtained contribute to understanding the complex dynamics of nuclear power rivalry and its implications for international security.
