The history of the Great Tea Road and its revival in the modern era

Abstract

The research is aimed at studying the historical, cultural, economic and social consequences of the great Tea Way. Through studying and analyzing relevant documents and historical materials, we have come to the conclusion that the Great Tea Road is an important trade route in the history of China, which has had a profound impact on the development and exchanges between regions along this route. The results of the study show that the history of the great Tea Road can be traced back to the Ming and Qing dynasties, and it was an important trade route connecting southern China and Europe. Through the tea ceremony trade, tea, ceramics, silk, and other goods from southern China were exported to Europe, as well as European manufactured goods and precious metals. Trade during the great Tea Road had a positive impact on the economic development, cultural exchanges and social progress of the regions along the route. In conclusion, this study provides an important theoretical and practical basis for future research on the tea ceremony and sustainable development through an in-depth study of the historical, cultural, economic and social impact of the Great Tea Way, as well as provides a theoretical knowledge base for subsequent work on the compilation of the material.
