Methods of integrating elements of Russian culture into the process of teaching Russian to foreign students

Abstract

Russian Russian as a foreign language (RKI) is becoming particularly important in the context of globalization, as the Russian language is becoming an instrument of intercultural communication. An urgent task remains the development of effective teaching methods that contribute not only to the acquisition of language skills, but also to the immersion of students in the cultural and historical context. This article is devoted to the consideration of methods for integrating elements of Russian culture into the process of teaching RCT to foreign students. The study used a set of methods, including a comparative analysis of existing educational programs, a survey of students studying Russian, and monitoring their progress in the context of the application of culturally oriented methods. Special attention was paid to the use of authentic texts, audiovisual material and interactive classes, which reduce the distance between students and the cultural environment, native speakers. The results of the study showed that the integration of elements of Russian culture significantly increases the motivation of foreign students, improves understanding of language structures and reduces communication barriers. For example, the use of folklore texts, the study of traditions and historical events in Russia allowed students to become more aware of the mental and cultural characteristics of native speakers. In addition, interactive practices such as cooking classes or watching movies together strengthened intercultural communication and promoted the perception of language as a living communication tool. Thus, the integration of elements of Russian culture into the process of teaching Russian language is an important component of the formation of intercultural competence. Cultural-oriented methods not only contribute to better learning of the Russian language, but also help foreign students adapt to the Russian environment. The author of the article recommends the inclusion of such techniques in educational programs as a means of improving the effectiveness of learning.
