Analysis of strategic approaches to managing the sustainable development of high-tech clusters in the era of digital transformation of the economic space

Abstract

The sustainable transformation of the economic space in the context of digitalization poses new challenges for high-tech clusters that require the use of strategic management approaches. The purpose of the study is to analyze and optimize strategic approaches that contribute to the sustainable development of clusters involved in digital transformation processes. The work uses a comprehensive methodological framework, including a comparative analysis of management strategies, a systematic approach and modeling of economic processes. The main focus is on the use of digital technologies to improve the effectiveness of cluster member coordination, as well as the adaptation of management models to changing environmental conditions. The study revealed that successful management of the sustainable development of high-tech clusters requires the harmonization of economic, environmental and social goals, taking into account the specifics of the digital space. The authors systematized the main strategic approaches – adaptability, innovation and integration, which help to build effective interaction between cluster participants. It was determined that the introduction of digital management tools such as blockchain and artificial intelligence significantly increases transparency, optimizes processes and promotes the principles of sustainable development. On this basis, a multilevel management model is proposed, covering strategic, operational and tactical dimensions. The emphasis is placed on the challenges arising from the need to integrate new technologies and maintain competitiveness in the global economy. The limitations in the implementation of the proposed strategies related to insufficient digital literacy and economic barriers are considered. The results of the study demonstrate the effectiveness of using strategic approaches to managing the sustainable development of high-tech clusters in the context of digital transformation. The practical significance of the proposed solutions lies in the possibility of their adaptation for different regions and industries, which contributes to the successful integration of clusters into the digital economy.
