Adaptation of strategic management of streaming services to changes in the digital media environment: analysis of trends and challenges

Abstract

In the era of rapid development of digital technologies, streaming services have become one of the key players in the media and entertainment market. This research paper is dedicated to the adaptation of strategic management of streaming services to the changing conditions of the digital media environment. The aim of the study is to analyze the trends and challenges faced by streaming platforms, as well as to develop recommendations for overcoming them. To achieve this goal, comprehensive methodological work was carried out, including both quantitative and qualitative methods. In particular, secondary data analysis was used, collected from open sources and market reports. In addition, expert interviews were conducted with representatives of streaming services. The obtained data were processed using statistical and content analysis. The results of the study revealed several key trends in the digital media environment that significantly influence the strategic management of streaming services. Among them: the rapid growth of competition, the need for content personalization, the growing importance of user experience and data security. Challenges were also identified, such as the need for innovation, licensing policy issues, and a high level of dependence on technological infrastructure. The analysis showed that successful adaptation of strategic management of streaming services is possible with flexibility and readiness for change. Companies that invest in the development of new technologies, improve user interfaces, and offer unique content have a better chance of success. At the same time, attention to legal and ethical issues remains an important aspect. In light of the identified trends and challenges, streaming services need to constantly adapt their strategies to remain competitive in the market. Developing flexible and innovative management approaches will help companies not only cope with current challenges but also anticipate future changes in the digital media environment.
